Asbestos Diseases Campaign
Pro-bono: Working with the late (great) Bernie Banton we produced campaign material in the battle for workers compensation against James Hardie Industries.
We made the front page of the SMH on the day Hardie’s announced large profits. As well as campaign material attempting to end Canada’s exports of asbestos to India. While asbestos was banned for domestic use it was still exported. Under global pressure the Canadian Government has now closed the last mine.
